Just spent five hours watching NCIS with the roommate - for the second night in a row -  and making numerous attempts to memorize the first eight lines of The Canterbury Tales General Prolouge for my Chaucer class. Here's all I have to show for it:

Tomorrow's the day; while it's been fun, we'll be heading back home in the morning. We're currently at my uncle's place visiting with his family. Friday afternoon I managed to pay a visit to my favorite yarn shop, Yarns & Fabrication. Sadly the store is in the process of attempting to clean out their inventory before they close for good. It feels good getting back into the groove, even if just for a day. This past week was the first for summer classes. I'm in two for the month of May; between them and work, I have no real break between 7am and 4:30pm. This weekend was a nice break from all that, even if I spent a good chunk of today fighting a sinus pressure headache.

I really didn't know if I was going to make it. Especially at the end things began to get crazy around here; I had a French test Thursday, a Bible test today to study for over the weekend, an assignment which I should have worked on but didn't to gain more time for knitting, and a last minute overnight trip Saturday.

Have been staring at this page for around ten minutes now, attempting to think of something to write. It's not working. I don't know what happened, but at some point between Christmas and the start of the new semester I lost all drive to knit. I didn't touch anything; no patterns, no yarn, no needles. Nothing was made.
